The iPhone 17 launch is hours away now, as Apple’s ‘Awe Dropping’ event kicks off later today (September 9) at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. BST / 3 a.m. AEST. Rumor has it that Apple will launch as many as eight new devices, including four new iPhones, as many as three Apple Watches and the AirPods Pro 3.
The real star of the show could be the iPhone 17 Air, which is the first truly new iPhone design we’ve seen in a long, long time. Since the device is expected to be just 5.5mm thick — the thinnest iPhone ever made — it’s likely to receive the most attention from Apple fans (we’re not sure about everyday shoppers).
